Biography

James Lambert Patrick, M.D., Ph.D.

James is an award-winning nature photographer who has traveled to some of the most remote places on the planet. His treks have led him to Antartica, Greenland, Oceania, the Himalayas, Southeast Asia, Patagonia, Europe, Eastern Africa and Central America.

Outside of the field of photography, James is a physician and board-certified radiologist. He completed fellowships in Advanced Onco-Radiology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School and in Emergency Medicine Radiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Additionally he completed fellowships in abdominal imaging, and a fellowship in (PET/CT, PET/MR, Nuclear Medicine, Molecular Imaging) at the University of Wisconsin. Guest Fellow and lecture at The Karolinska Institute (Karolinska Institutet ett Medicinskt Universitet) Stockholm, Sweden. His radiology residency and medical school training were completed at the Medical College of Ohio. He has a Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology from MCO and received his Bachelor’s Degrees in Physics and Zoology from Ohio University.

 James has been involved in a number of volunteer organizations, including medical missions to Eastern Africa and Southeast Asia following the Sumatra-Andaman tsunami in 2004. All net proceeds from his work are donated to either the Eastern African Medical Assistance Foundation or the SHARE Kenya Project in affiliation with the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University.
